Dr. Gates was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. He has a passion for exotic animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, preventive care, and teaching. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dogs, going up north, and taking care of his reptiles, fish, and arachnids. He can’t wait to meet you and your furry or scaly friends.

Faith is a Veterinary Assistant who is newer to the industry but brings a unique background in environmental studies. She takes pride in building strong connections with pet owners, ensuring they feel welcomed and confident in the care their pets receive.

Outside of work, Faith is a competitive equestrian with a deep passion for history. She actively participates in historical reenactments and displays, and when she’s not in scrubs, she enjoys dressing in vintage styles from the 1900s-1940s. At home, Faith’s love for animal’s shines through her diverse menagerie, which includes horses, a frog, chickens, fish, dogs, a snake, and pigeons!

Meet Kalie, a skilled Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Representative who has been part of the veterinary industry since 2014. Her journey began at a cat-only shelter, where she cared for cats with medical needs and assisted the veterinarian. In 2016, she earned her Veterinary Assisting Certificate from Pima Medical Institute in Phoenix.

Kalie takes pride in the small yet meaningful aspects of her work—whether it’s interacting with animals she adores, watching young pets grow over the years, or being a friendly and helpful presence for clients. She cherishes the moments when her efforts make a positive difference in someone’s experience.

Outside of work, Kalie enjoys spending time with her husband and taking care of their beloved animal family.

Lauren is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with four years of experience and a passion for continuous learning. A graduate of Lakeville South High School, she brings enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to her role. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her dogs and is an avid hockey player—serving as a goalie since high school and continuing to play today. Her willingness to learn and her love for animals make her a valued member of the team!

Claudia is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with two years of experience in the field. She is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree through the Penn Foster program, driven by her passion for continuous growth—both for herself and the patients she cares for.

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys painting, tending to her plants, spending time with animals, and traveling. Her home is filled with a diverse array of pets, including a dog, bunny, leopard gecko, blue-tongue skink, bull snake, gargoyle gecko, and several invertebrates!

Lexi joined the team in 2022, she is currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program. She always had family dogs and cats during her childhood. She currently has a total of 15 pets including 2 dogs, 5 rabbits, 3 gerbils, 2 hamsters, 2 geckos and a Pac-Man frog. She enjoys biking and hiking with her dogs in the summer. She is excited to be working in the veterinary industry and is looking forward to meeting you and your furry companions.

Kyleigh joined us at the beginning of 2024. She has just started school for Veterinary Technology at Dakota County Technical College. She has four beautiful cats, Gaia, Athena, Mooks, and Pepper. She has had animals her whole life, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and rabbits. Now, she loves going out on her electric bike with her husband and spending time with her family. She can’t wait to meet all your furry friends at either of the locations.
