France Avenue Pet Hospital in Bloomington, Minnesota, is growing and we need another DVM to join us on the journey! We are a full-service small animal practice that prides itself on our knowledge, passion, and skilled professionals. Located in the Minneapolis metropolitan area, our clients are caring and plentiful. Over the last 17 years, we have built many life-long relationships and welcome a new face to our practice to help create more!

This position comes with a great multi-site opportunity at our sister location, Bush Lake Pet Hospital, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Our second location is a newly built, state-of-the-art facility within the Minneapolis Metro area, helping our cohesive team achieve even more lifelong relationships within our community.

Our practices currently consist of 2 full-time DVMs, 3 certified veterinary technicians, and 3 veterinary assistants, making an ideal doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio. Our technical staff is highly utilized, ensuring that their doctors are never without a hand and are always able to manage their time as needed. Caseloads are optimal for a doctor who likes to keep a steady agenda with a balance of medical and surgical cases. We see dogs, cats, and a multitude of exotic companion animals.

Our experienced doctors are compassionate, ambitious, and hardworking, making them great mentors for those starting their careers in veterinary medicine.

About the Area:  Bloomington is a neighborhood of Minneapolis that offers something for everyone! Home to the world-famous Mall of America, you will always have many shops and restaurants at your fingertips. For the outdoors and nature lovers there is Minnehaha Regional Park’s beautiful waterfalls and river walk or the Richardson Nature Center. • Schedule: We offer a fixed 4-day work week with no weekends or on-call.

• PTO-3+ weeks vacation/sick days that we don’t make impossible to use!
• Management: Maintain an open line of communication with your leadership team. You will be heard and taken seriously!
• Continued Education: Ample CE allowance and FREE internal CE opportunities, including wet labs!
• Professional growth support: Medical autonomy, support of new implementations brought to the practice, workshops, and retreats dedicated to professional development.
• Mentorship: We offer a 6-month+ hybrid program customized to new grads based on their competencies and clinical and non-clinical development needs. An onsite dedicated mentor is with you every step of the way!
• Helping Hands: Have an adequate number of skilled support staff by your side, with a 1:2 doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio. Focus on your patients, and let your techs do what they do best!
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, company-paid short-term disability, 401(k), and Roth(k). If enrolled, a monthly stipend to cover your individual health insurance premium is also included.
• We’ve got you covered: Liability coverage, State Licensure dues, DEA Registration, AVMA and state VMA memberships, and any other associated memberships will also be paid for should they become due during employment.
